Features and specifications explained

The Expedition Jogging Stroller is made with great quality materials. The light-weight steel and high-quality plastic is well combined and makes for an attractive looking stroller. The three bicycle tires offer not only good and comfortable ride, they are also made to go over uneven surfaces and even rougher terrain with ease. The front tire is fixed on a swivel which makes for easy manoeuvring and if there is a need to go over difficult terrain, the front wheel can easily be locked in a fixed position.

There are two convenient cup holders for baby bottles or beverage for parents. The seat is well padded and comes with adjustable five-point safety harness and tether strap. The top canopy is adjustable from the folded to fully extended position for sun, wind and rain blocking. The stroller also comes with a large and very convenient storage basket for things parents would take along with them.

When you complete your walks, or runs and want to stow away the stroller, you can easily fold it using the trigger which reduces it into a compact size. This way the stroller will fit easier into car trunks and even smaller storage space.

During use, we found it to be very mobile and easy to push with little effort. Obviously, thanks to some good engineering and design decision placing you toddler will be easy as there is plenty of space where the seat is. We used it mostly for walking during our test and our little kid enjoyed riding in this stroller very much. We love the convenience factor with the two-cup holder where we could store water for us and the child. The large basket was great to use and it carried a spare blanket and our jackets when it got too hot on sunny days.

During our low-speed runs, we appreciated the good ease of movement. What we didn’t like was the strong vibration and rattling during those runs. Our little one didn’t mind but we did. As we increased running speed the stroller picked up stronger oscillations and its construction started to rattle. It seems that this stroller isn’t very jogger friendly.

We tested the rough terrain drive too much to the delight of our toddler which enjoyed the uneven road more than we do. Nevertheless, the stroller drove smoothly on the rougher terrain and the locking mechanism for the front wheel proved to be secure and stable. This makes the Expedition Jogger Stroller a great all-terrain child carrier.

PROS:

• Good build quality and materials
• Easy to move and manoeuvre
• Works great on all types of surfaces
• 5-point safety harness for the child seat
• Folds for easier storage
• Convenient with plenty of storage space

CONS:

• Shakes and vibrates during higher speed jogs
• Front wheel isn’t stable when not locked

The conclusion

We can conclude our review with some interesting findings. The Expedition Jogger Stroller by Baby Trend is a very convenient and practical for walking on almost all types of terrain. It isn’t that great for higher speed jogging so potential buyers should have that in mind. We feel, that overall this is a good buy as the included features and portability justify the affordable price tag.
