Features and specifications explained

We were pleased with the overall build quality of the stroller and found the construction to be sturdy and strong. The FastAction stroller itself is mostly made of the hard plastics with some steel used for the body of the stroller. The colour scheme is neutral and we found it to be pleasing to our eyes. Perhaps it isn’t fashionable enough for some although we like the grey colour paint over black colour body elements. This way they the design seems to be nice looking no matter the occasion if that is what matters to some.

The wheels offer a good surface grip and stability even on uneven terrain. Traversing with this stroller over rougher patches of land introduces slight vibrations and shaking although this is to be expected seeing how the stroller has smaller wheels which are intended for flat surface rides. Our child enjoyed the ride quality and preferred to ride in the stroller without the included Snug Ride infant car seat.

Since he is a bit bigger the car seat limits his movements and so he was always looking to free himself and get out of it. Harnesses are solid and provide great support and safety in the car seat. The ability to fully adjust the seat for the child in multiple positions is a great feature and we found it made all the difference when it comes to the comfort of the child.

Graco FastAction design

When it comes to the included Snug Ride Click connect infant seat, we found it to be very practical and convenient. For the reasonable price of the whole package, you get the versatility of having a car seat too which can easily be taken out of the car and directly placed in the stroller. This works effortlessly every time thanks to the smart Click connect system. The FastAction fold works as advertised and it enables easy and quick swaps between stroller and the car. Getting your child in and out of the stroller is easy since the holding tray pivots out of the way.

There is also plenty of convenient storage space for anything you should need to carry along for a walk thanks to the extra-large basket. The cup holder is also included for any drink you would want to carry along.

• Great build quality
• Stability and good grip
• Easy to move and manoeuvres great
• Includes a Snug Ride car seat
• Lots of storage space for necessities
• Folds up for convenient storage
• Adjustable position of the seat
• Lightweight yet solid built

• The canopy material is low quality
• The upholstery is made out of non-breathable fabric

The only downside that we found during our testing was that all of the fabric used on this stroller is made out of a cheap synthetic material. The underside fabric of the child seat isn’t breathable and thus the sweat has nowhere to drain so it can get uncomfortable and unpleasant for the child. The canopy fabric offers great protection against all of the elements when you’re outside however it seems too rigid and it was not folding very well. It can obstruct the folding mechanism and sometimes it even gets stuck and jams the folding structure.

The conclusion

We conclude our in-depth review with the thoughts that some downsides do not take away from the overall satisfaction we had while using the Graco’s FastAction Fold Click Connect Stroller and the included Snug Ride car seat. For this price, you get a good quality stroller and a car seat which is a great deal that is difficult to ignore.
